Madhav Kaushik (Meerut Mavericks Captain): "I think we were thinking how to celebrate even before the game started. We were under some pressure at times but we fought well. Rinku Singh messaged us and he kept motivating all. He congratulated us on the call. I had full belief in our team even in the absence of Rinku. Thank you."

Winner medals are now being distributed to the Meerut Mavericks.

Sameer Rizvi (Kanpur Superstars Captain): "Not really. Chikara when he got out and then the run out helped us back in the game. It was a good game and last over finish. Great game and we lost in the end.

My plan was to play till the end and get 200+ and got out at the wrong time unfortunately.

The way we have comeback and won 5 matches in a row to get in the final. The boys did well and will be confident about it. Proud about the performance by the boys.

Swastik Chikara (Most Valuable Player of the Tournament): "Yes, very happy with the win. It was a tough match but enjoyed a lot and helped the team win. I practised a lot and played till the end. Trying to take game deep and play long. Wicket was challenging and just adjusted to it. Mohsin bowled well and so had to play myself in. Yes, that was a mistake and got out. Wanted to play 4-5 more overs. Could have finished the game earlier. But happy with the win in the end. Thank You sir."

Madhav Kaushik (Player of the Match): "My plan was to play till the end. Play the balls on merit and hit the loose balls. Play till the end and hit the winning runs. I told the bowlers to bowl freely. The wicket was good and we went in a calculated way and got the job done. Swastik and me played really well and it was one-sided and they came back well in the contest. It was a great final and glad that I helped them win the game."
