Nitish Rana (Noida Super Kings Captain): "When I lost the toss, I wanted to bowl first. I thought if we knew the target, it becomes easy to bat. The wicket was good today. If you drop catches of in-form players, it is always tough to come back.
We were thinking that if we score 60 or 70 in the first six, we should be ahead of the game. We had to do well in all three departments of the game.

06:25 PM IST and Local Time: What an incredible finish, folks! The Meerut Mavericks have snatched victory from the jaws of defeat, winning by 18 runs in a nail-biting encounter here in the 24th match of the UPT20!
Chasing 189, the Noida Super Kings were off to a solid start, led by the ever-reliable Rahul Rajpal, who anchored the innings with a gutsy 53 off 42 balls. But then, oh boy, it was Prashant Veer who lit up the stadium with 43 runs off just 20 deliveries, smashing the ball to all parts of the ground! Absolute carnage! But after that, the wheels started to come off for the Kings. Kavya Teotia chipped in with 33 off 25,
But no one else could take it deep, and that’s where the Mavericks' bowlers came roaring back. Zeeshan Ansari, with his magical spin, grabbed 2 wickets, turning the game on its head. Vijay Kumar, cool as ice, also picked up 2 crucial scalps. Rajat Sanserwal got two as well. And Yash Garg and Rinku Singh with one wicket each, sending the crowd into a frenzy!
The last over tension palpable, crowd on the edge of their seats was a rollercoaster, but the Mavericks held their nerve, and Noida fell short by just 18 runs! What a contest!
