That is the coverage of the UP T20. For now, this is me Hrutuja Deshmukh signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Gourav Samal, who, alongside our scorer/analyst Ghanendra Singh Thakur brought you all the live-action of this fixture. We will meet again. Until then, cheers!
Akshdeep Nath( Captain Gorakhpur Lions & POTM)- "It was a good day for us but that wicket was not easy to bat on, And a special mention to Hardeep. Of course, it was clever to deal with the ball square on and dealing with the pressure together made it better, it was a slow start for sure but we will look at it. Our spinners are working well for sure that is our strength and our bowlers have proved themselves every time and today too."
Player of the Match- Akshdeep Nath
Perfect Catch of the Match- Hardeep Singh

Time for presentation.
Priyam Garg (Captain Lucknow Falcons): "We could have bowled a bit well, but to be honest, they batted too well because the wicket was not easy to bat on. Our next focus is to look forward to the next games. I had a good start with the bat in the first innings and could have taken the innings forward but in the meantime I lost my wicket which affected our team total."
11:50 PM IST and Local Time: What a riveting contest it was! The Gorakhpur Lions roared to victory, chasing down a target of 116 with remarkable ease, winning by 6 wickets under the DLS method.

A true masterclass from skipper Akshdeep Nath, who led from the front with a calm yet commanding 52* off 35 balls, remaining unbeaten. His partnership with Hardeep Singh, who dazzled with a quickfire 33* off 21, laid the perfect foundation for this chase.

The Falcons, though, had their moments. Abhinandan Singh with one and Viparaj Nikam with three toiled hard, claiming wickets and creating some pressure, but it wasn't enough. The Falcons' total of 115, while respectable under tricky conditions, just wasn't enough. A few more runs, maybe 160+, could have given their bowlers something to defend, but alas, the Lions had other plans!

Lucknow's bowling attack struggled to contain the fluid strokeplay of Gorakhpur's batters. They bowled loose deliveries at crucial junctures, and the Lions pounced on every opportunity. As we look back at this game, it's clear the Falcons lacked that killer edge in both departments today.

A commanding performance from the Gorakhpur Lions, who showed poise and professionalism, making it a night to remember for their fans. A well-deserved victory!
16.2 Singh to H Singh
4 Free-Hit!!!! That's it. Hardeep Singh with the final hit. Length on middle stump line, turning away, Singh shuffles back and heaves it over the head of the bowler for a boundary. With it Gorakhpur Lions have won the match by 6 wickets. When it looked like Gorakhpur Lions won't reach the target, Akshdeep Nath and Hardeep Singh added an unbeaten 76 runs from 45 balls for the fifth wicket to help their team win the match.
Oopsy Daisy! NO BALL! as the bowler over steps.
