8:42 PM IST, 5:12 PM Local Time: A nail biting encounter in the final match of the Tri Series. The hosts Netherlands with a comeback for the ages defeat USA by 4 runs defending a low score of 132/8 and are crowned champions!

Netherlands won the toss and elected to bat first, Ryan Klein finishing the innings with an unbeaten 36 off 25 balls to help them score 132/8. Harmeet Singh the star for US with 3/8 in 4 overs.

Skipper Monank Patel (12 off 9) and Saiteja Mukkamalla (24 off 16) added 20 for the first wicket before Kyle Klein removed Patel's middle pole to send him packing. Left arm spinner Daniel Doram then removed Mukkamalla in the final over of the powerplay.

Andries Gous kept USA in the fight with 43 in 26 balls hitting 3 fours and as many sixes in his knock. The spinners brought back Netherlands in the game with Aryan Dutt striking twice in the 10th over to remove Aaron Jones and Nitish Kumar, reducing the score to 75/4.

Doram returned with another wicket to send Shayan Jahangir packing prompting skipper Scott Edwards to introduce another spinner in Max O'Dowd who reaped rewards by dismissing Harmeet Singh.

Andries Gous hit a maximum in the next over to put Zach Lion-Cachet under pressure but the off spinner removed him the very next ball. Dutt finished his spell with 3/22 with a maiden as well, Shadley van Schalkwyk becoming his last victim.

Jasdeep Singh brought back USA's hopes again in the 18th over clearing Doram for a maximum to bring the equation down to 7 in the last 2 overs. Klein kept his calm conceding just 2 runs with Jasdeep getting lazily run out in the same over.

Paul Van Meekeren who bowled only 1 over in the game was called back to defend 5 in the last over and did the trick hitting the off pole the very first ball to clinch victory from the jaws of defeat. Netherlands finish the series with 6 points and with a well deserved victory, clinch the silverware.

W BOWLED HIM! Netherlands win a stunning encounter! Van Meekeren with a perfect delivery! Around the wicket. Bowls a good length ball angling in from the fourth stump line. Yasir doesn't move his feet and goes for a drive. Misses the ball on the outside edge. Ball goes straight with the angle and hits the top of the off stump!
Paul van Meekeren is tasked with defending 5 off the final over.

W RUN OUT!! Jessy Singh with a brain fade moment. A good length delivery nipping back in from the middle stump, gets an inside edge on the pads. Ball running to backward point. Jessy is outside the crease showing his bat to the umpire and forgets to get back in the crease. The fielder picks up the ball, runs in and sends an underarm throw to hit the stumps, Jessy is late to react and has to walk back. USA need 6 runs in 8 balls with 1 wicket in hand.
