Hrithik Shokeen(West Delhi Lions Captain): "I don't have words to say but we fought hard. There are a few areas where we can improve.  We made a few changes and those players have played their role very well. We tried to do less mistakes and we will do that in the remaining games."
23:00 IST & Local Time | East Delhi beat West Delhi by 5 wickets. A clinical batting display by them as they chase down the total of 183 with 1 over to spare. They remain the only unbeaten team in the tournament and stand on top of the points table.

Opting to field first, East Delhi Dragons were excellent with the new ball but leaked too many in the middle and death overs. Simranjeet Singh and Raunak Waghela were the pick of the bowlers and picked up 3 and 2 wickets respectively.

With the bat, West Delhi were decent with the bat and posted an above par total of 182 runs. Ankit Kumar was brilliant at the top of the order and played a fine knock of 73 off 44 balls. Tishant Dabla was also impressive in the end and played a quick fire cameo of 14 off just 6 balls.

Coming to the chase, West Delhi made full use of the momentum with the new ball and picked up three early wickets inside the powerplay. The impact player Rohit Yadav and Skipper Hrithik Shokeen were the pick of the bowlers and picked up 2 wickets each. They could not hold onto the momentum post that and leaked too many in the end.

With the bat, East Delhi did lose some early wickets but batted brilliantly in the middle overs and built those crucial partnerships. Skipper Himmat Singh was outstanding and remained unbeaten till the end and played a fine knock of 65* off just 47 balls. Mayank Rawat and Samarth Seth assisted him well and scored 25 and 44 runs respectively.

Stay around for the presentations.

6 SIXXXX MORE!!!! East Delhi Riders have taken 27 from the penultimate over and has registered a victory with an over remaining. Saini bowls a back of length delivery at the off stump. Himmat creates room and pulls it over deep midwicket for a maximum. A fitting way to finish the game for Himmat and EDR.
18.5 N Saini to P Pant
1 Good length delivery at the off stump. Pant drills it to long-on for one.
18.4 N Saini to H Singh
1 Full delivery at the off stump. Himmat plays it to midwicket with the inner half of his bat for one.
Just 8 more needed.
18.3 N Saini to H Singh
4 FOUR MORE!!!!!! Navdeep Saini is looking absolutely clueless in the middle. He bowls a shorter delivery wide of off stump. Himmat gets the width and he slaps it through the vacant widish long off for four.
FREE HIT goes for a boundary. Himmat Singh has killed this game.
