Player of the Match: Akhil Chaudhary.
Hrithik Shokeen (West Delhi Lions Captain): "The experience was good. But we disappointed ourselves in the end and did not finish the way we wanted to. We need to be ruthless and we were not good enough today but still we won. Need to improve on certain areas."
Super Striker of the Match: Ankit Kumar.
Most Economical Bowler of the Match: Sasthik Singh.
Catch of the Match: Hrithik Shokeen.

Time for the presentations.
P Vijayran (North Delhi Strikers Captain): "I think we were short with the bat. We wanted to finish things off well but lost our way. We needed 170-175 on the board but we fought well with the ball after the powerplay. This is a great tournament and a platform for all of us to shine and for youngsters to showcase our talent. Plenty of positives for us today despite the loss and hope to do well tomorrow on Raksha Bandhan day. Thank You."
11:00 PM IST and Local Time: Ladies and gentlemen, what a match we've witnessed tonight in the third game of the Delhi Premier League! The West Delhi Lions have triumphed by three wickets in what turned out to be a nail-biting contest against the North Delhi Strikers.

Chasing a target of 144, the West Delhi Lions got off to a flying start, courtesy of Ankit Kumar, who smashed 39 off just 15 deliveries. His aggressive batting set the tone early on, putting the Strikers on the back foot. Anmol Sharma chipped in with 17 off 18 balls, while Ekansh Dobal steadied the ship in the middle with a crucial 27 off 24 deliveries.
But the drama didnā€™t end there! The Lions lost wickets at regular intervals, and it looked like the match could swing either way. But Deepak Punia held his nerve in the dying moments, blasting 18* off just 11 balls to take his team over the line in 18.3 overs.

On the bowling side, the Strikers fought valiantly. Suyash Sharma and Manan Bhardwaj each took a wicket, while Anirudh Chowdhary claimed three. But the star with the ball for the Strikers was Yatish Singh, who took three crucial wickets, keeping the game alive until the very end.
However, despite their efforts, the North Delhi Strikers just couldnā€™t pull it off today. They were good but not perfect in all three departments, and thatā€™s where the Lions capitalized.

What a game it has been full of twists, turns, and brilliant individual performances. Congratulations to the West Delhi Lions for securing this thrilling victory! Thatā€™s all from this match, folks. Stay tuned for more action from the Delhi Premier League!
