It’s time to wrap up our coverage of this match. This is Arjun Bhalla signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Ajay Pal Singh and our scorer/analyst Yogesh Kumar. Be sure to switch tabs to follow our coverage of the second match of the Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 2024. Thank you for joining us!
Nihal Ullal (Shivamogga Lions Captain): "Definitely no. Everyone has to eat what he is eating. If he is out in the middle, we can chase anything. I have seen him (Abhinav Manohar) from a 15-year-old boy, I told him that he is batting as well as he has ever did in his career.

The pressure is on them (Mysore Warriors) now to stay alive. We have done our bit."

6:22 PM IST and Local Time: Six runs, and that's over for Gulbarga Mystics! Shivamogga Lions have chased the score of 207 runs with five balls to go! It has been a remarkable finish for the Lions, courtesy of Abhinav Manohar and Rohan Naveen.

The game was gone. It was long gone, but the Shivamogga finishers brought it from the jaws of the defeat. Abhinav Manohar has emerged as the show-stopper Abhinav Manohar for his unbeaten 76 off 34 balls. R Naveen well assisted him with his 34 off 14 balls.

The chase began well for the Lions, but they lost D Mohan inside the powerplay; skipper Nihal Ullal started the rebuilding job with Bharath Dhuri as they took the team to 70 runs in 8 overs, before the latter lost the plot.

After that, the skipper got slow in the middle, but Manohar and Hardik Raj continued the good work. However, Raj was dismantled after a 17 off 7 when he was looking to up the ante.

When things were looking to take a south turn for the Lions, R Naveen joined forces with Manohar. They scored 74 runs off just 27 deliveries and took the team home with five balls to spare.
19.1 V Vijaykumar to A Manohar
6 SIXX!! Abhinav Manohar finishes it off in style. The whole dug out comes charging out to greet the man of the moment. Short ball outside off from over the wicket. Abhinav Maohar goes for the pull shot over deep mid wicket and with the form he is in, it clears the fence easily. Take a bow Abhinav Manohar. He has kept the Lions alive in the tournament single-handedly.

Shivamogga Lions complete the biggest chase in the history of Maharaja Trophy.
