12:27 AM IST, Local Time | Well that's it from a long double header day in the Maharaja Trophy 2024! Join us back tomorrow as we bring you all the cricketing action from around the world.

Until then, this is Anirudh Modi, signing off along with my co-commentator Soumarya Dutta, and our scorer/analyst Zeeshan Naiyer! See you on the next one!
Devdutt Padikkal (Gulbarga Mystics Captain): "It was great to see, we made it harder for ourselves. But at the end of the day, we had enough in the batting tank. That was pretty challenging, it was incredible to see 3 super overs, we were getting ready to put on our spikes each time and then we had to remove them."

12:16 AM IST, Local Time | Praveen Dubey and R Smaran have rescued the Mystics out of the abyss to take their team over the line! They defeat Mangaluru Dragons by 5 wickets to take home the points!

Gulbarga Mystics won the toss and elected to bowl first, and after a strong opening partnership from Mangaluru, the Mystics were able to drag them back in the game, and eventually restrict them to 150/7 at the end of the first 20 overs. All bowlers of Mystics picked up 1 wicket each.

Come the chase, Mangaluru Dragons overwhelmed the Mystics in the first 10 overs. At one stage, after Sisodia's counter-attack which saw him hit 26 runs off 20 balls, Mystics found themselves at 49/1, but thanks to some brilliant bowling by Shreyas Gopal and Macneil Noronha, they were reduced to 75/5 after 12.3 overs.

However, the duo of Maharaja Trophy's first centurion in R Smaran and Praveen Dubey had other ideas as they went onto stitch together an unbeaten and magical 76 run winning partnership to seal the encounter for Gulbaraga Mystics!

Praveen Dubey finished unbeaten on 47 runs off 24 balls, and his partner-in-crime carried his bat too with 40 runs off 30 balls!

An excellent and much needed victory for Gulbaraga Mystics!
19.3 D MB to P Dubey
6 SIX! That's it! Dubey finishes it off in style! No super over in this but a magical partnership to salvage this run chase for Mystics! Full length delivery, outside the off stump, slices it over third man for a MAXIMUM to win the contest!
19.2 D MB to P Dubey
2 Over the wicket, full length delivery, outside the off stump, shuffles across and manages to scoop it just over short fine to pick up a couple! 5 runs needed in 4 balls.
19.1 D MB to R Smaran
3 Darshan to finish things off, around the wicket, bangs it in short, on the stumps, Smaran hooks it over short fine, and the fielder chases it down and puts in a dive to save a run for his team! 7 runs needed in 5 balls.
Mystics need 10 runs from the final over.

The umpire sends it upstairs and he has made it back in safely! NOT OUT!
18.6 A Shetty to P Dubey
2 8 runs coming from this one, 10 runs will be needed in the last over. Back of a length delivery, outside the off stump, cuts it to deep point to scamper back for a couple, a run-out check will ensue here, NOT OUT is the call!
18.5 A Shetty to R Smaran
1 Once again, full and wide outside the off stump, driven to deep point for a single.
18.5 A Shetty to R Smaran
WD WIDE! Too far away outside the off stump, umpire signals a bonus run.
