9:11 AM IST, Local Time: And we got a bad news for you folks. Play has been abandoned for day 3. It's raining at the moment and the covers are firmly in place and the match officials think that no play will be possible today. It's such a shame that we haven't been able to get any play on the first three days. Let's hope we get some action on the remaining two days.
8:57 AM IST, Local Time: And just in case you were wondering about the toss that was scheduled to take place at 9 AM IST/Local Time, it has been delayed.
8:35 AM IST, Local Time: A bad news to start the day folks. It's raining at the moment in Greater Noida. So, get ready because it's going to be another that sort of a day where we keep waiting for some positive update from the venue.
It has been a damp start to this Test match. In fact, there hasn't been a start at all due to the wet conditions in the Greater Noida. No play has been possible on the first two days. There was no rain throughout the two days but no play was possible due to the wet outfield, caused by overnight rain.

The groundsmen have worked really hard in the last two days and we might expect the same from them today. They have used electric fans to dry the affected areas, replaced the grass but haven't been able to make the field ready for play. It's quite frustrating to see whole day's play getting abandoned but we can only hope that the conditions improve and we get to witness some action on the remaining three days of this Test match.
