That's it from the coverage of Qualifier 1 where Rain won and had the decisive say on the match. The weather has cleared from before and so, the Eliminator match may well go ahead once the ground is ready. Join us for the Eliminator match later in the night and stick around to our network for more cricketing actions across the globe.

For now, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Aditya Agarwal and Hrutuja Deshmukh alongside scorer/analyst Ghanendra Singh Thakur. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodnight!
Since this was Qualifier 1, there would be a team that goes to the final. Usually, the franchise which tops the points table goes through to the next stage. Montreal Tigers, the defending champions, topped the table, while Brampton Wolves finished second.
10:38 PM IST, 1:08 PM Local Time: The news from the venue is that the match has been abandoned between Montreal Tigers and Brampton Wolves.
22:03 IST and 12:33 PM Local Time | There's some positive news coming up from the ground. The live visuals suggest that the pitch cover is being peeled off by the groundsmen. There's no sign of rain as such. We will be expecting a pitch inspection in a few time now. Stay tuned!
9:36 PM IST, 12:06 PM Local Time: Rain seems to have eased off now as there is some activity going on in the ground. The covers are still firmly placed along the ground as there is a lot of water in it. The groundsmen have a challenge to get the ground ready for a rain reduced game in Qualifier 1.
9:24 PM IST, 11:54 AM Local Time: Nothing new to update from the venue. The covers are still firmly placed and the entire ground is covered. Puddles have formed on the outfield and the super sopper working hard to clear excess water. We have definitely started to lose overs.
8:21 PM IST, 10:51 AM Local Time: Live visuals show that the whole ground is covered. The puddles are all over the place and the umpires and ground staff are there with umbrellas. Things not looking good at the moment. Weather is supposed to clear in the afternoon. Supersoppers are hard at work despite the amount of rain we have had.
Hrutuja - Good evening guys, A warm welcome to all tuning in. Like Ayan said let's hope for the rain to stop and for the groundsman to work their magic for us to see some action. Both the teams look good for sure, just hope this rain stops and the weather gets better, wicket conditions improve and if all of this works out we might get to see a small game today but the fight will be fierce for sure.
Ayan: Good evening Aditya, Hrutuja, Ghanendra and to everyone tuning in to our coverage. For starters, we have to hope that the rain stops and the ground is ready for play because looking at the current scenario, chances look bleak of this game going ahead. But if the weather Gods are kind, and we get some play in this clash, I think it is going to be a tough battle. The team that chases will have an advantage today. I don't want to pick a team, but I will stick with Brampton Wolves if we have a game today.
Aditya - Hello and a warm welcome to everyone tuning in. Time to welcome my co-commentators amidst the rain break, Hello Hrutuja and Ayan! What do you think about the Qualifier fixture?
8:08 PM IST, 10:38 AM Local Time: We have got bad news from the venue. It is raining heavily and a full storm is on. The whole ground is under covers and the toss has been officially delayed. Plenty of puddles and at this stage, things look very bleak.
Stay tuned for the toss and the match updates coming up shortly.
