That is the coverage of the tournament of Global t20 Canada. For now, this is me Hrutuja Deshmukh signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Aditya Agarwal and Deepak Prakash, who, alongside our scorer/analyst Ghanendra Singh Thakur brought you all the live action of this fixture. We will meet again. Until then, cheers!
Shakib Al Hasan ( Captain, Bangla Tigers Mississauga) - " It was a close match. We showed more intensity on the field and that's why we won. We could have bowled them out on a much more earlier than 100. It's great to win 3 games on a trot."
Marcus Stoinis (Captain, Surrey Jaguars) - Of course, I am not happy with the performance of my team today but we have our days, I love the fighting spirit of the boys though. It is a tricky pitch to play on but that is no excuse, they bowled well and we should give them that, We did bat well and we will try to improve from here on.
David Wiese (Player of the Match): "I think the key is to keep it simple and focus on hitting the stumps as much as possible. Once you start searching or trying something different, you give the batsman a chance. With the new ball, it’s especially tough to bat. So, I’m happy to get the four overs in upfront and then let the others take over. Just trying to keep it straightforward.

We always knew it would be a tough contest, but we just needed one or two strong partnerships to take control. I was aiming to stay in as long as possible to help secure the game."
Player of the Match: David Wiese
Logan van Beek: "I was a bit gutted to bowl that last over. I was hoping the pitch would give me something, as it had been up and down all day. The tactic was to hit the wicket and hope it went our way, but unfortunately, we didn't have enough runs. The good thing about low-scoring totals on these pitches is that they make for exciting games.

Yeah, it's great. Marcus has come off the back of the IPL, World Cup, and MLC, so he's in form. I’m not sure if he’s ever seen me bat before, but he was giving me some advice on whether he should take the strike and things like that. He’s a top player, and I’m grateful he’s on our side."
23:54 IST and 02:24 PM Local Time | That's it, the Bangla Tigers Mississauga sealed this victory! They won by 4 wickets! Batting first the Surrey Jaguars put up a total of 102 to chase for the Tigers and they chased it down comfortably!

Let's see what all happened in the game today, batting first the Surrey Jaguars were average today as they only put 101 on the board, Marcus Stoinis made 36(29) and Logan van Beek made 31(37) but that it for the Jaguars. The Tigers were brilliant in the bowling as well as in the batting today. Their Bowlers wreaked havoc with the ball and restricted the opponent to a below-par total. Shoriful Islam bagged three wickets for the Bangla Tigers. David Wiese and Shakib Al Hasan chipped in with a couple of wickets, while Curtis Campher, Ali Khan, and Dillon Heyliger contributed one wicket.

Coming to the second innings of the match, what an incredible team effort we’ve witnessed today from the Bangla Tigers Mississauga! Starting with Muhammad Waseem, who scored 14 off 24 balls, setting the foundation. Then we had Iftikhar Ahmed, chipping in with 13 runs from 21 balls. But it was David Wiese who really turned the tide, playing a composed and unbeaten 27* off 19 deliveries. And finally, the finisher for the day, Dillion Heyliger, wrapped things up in style with a swift 17* not out from just 12 balls. A fantastic all-round performance that secured the win for the Tigers!

The Jaguars were not good in the bowling part as well, they were struggling and bowling all around the pitch. Ben Lister, Logan van Beek and Marcus Stoinis each took one wicket. Sunil Narine was the star on the bowling side with 3 wickets. Exceptional bowling from Sunil Narine.

The Bangla Tigers Mississauga won by 4 wickets, Congratulations to them!
