Shakib Al Hasan (Bangla Tigers Mississauga Captain): "One out of two isn't bad; we got what we wanted. Shoriful and Wiese bowled really well with the new ball, giving us the momentum. The wicket played better after the first innings, but it stayed a bit low. The important thing is not to overthink the pitch and focus on what you can control."
Usman Khawaja (Captain, Vancouver Knights) - "I though we bowled really well. We picked up wickets at regular intervals. We restricted them to 150 around so that was a plus for us. We just need to improve on our batting and shot selection."
Iftikhar Ahmed (Player of the match) - We had a simple plan we decided to bowl in the stumps. The pitch was difficult to play today, but I have worked hard on my batting also, and I have prepared well.

After being put to bat by the Knights, Bangla tigers started off cautiously as they were 41 for the loss of 2 wickets after 6 overs. Hazratullah Zazai scored 33 runs in 28 balls and kept them at bay. But it was iftikhar Ahmed's 40 ball 50* , on whose back they were able to post a target of 153 runs.
Sandeep Lamichhane was the pick of the bowlers for Knights as he finished with a figures of 32 for 2.
Chasing 153, Vancouver Knights never really kept going as they lost 2 wickets in the 6 over powerplay and scored only 19 runs. They were reeling on 31-5, when Dwaine Pretorius and Harsh Thaker put up a fighting 79 run stand for the sixth wicket.
They tried to crawl their way back into the game but it was Shakib Al Hasan who spun a web around the Knights batters and he bowled brilliantly with figures of 10 for 3 in 4 overs.
In the end, Harsh Thaker remained not out on 79 but couldn't get his team over the line. bangla Tigers won by 22 runs!
