That's it from our coverage of Qualifier 2 of the MPL 2024. The final is set and it will be the repeat of Qualifier 1 that we had a few days ago. It's going to be Ratnagiri Jets up against Eagle Nashik Titans live from Pune tomorrow in the grand final. Do join us for the final tomorrow and switch tabs to catch all the other cricketing actions across the globe and across formats in our network.

For now, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Saptak Sanyal, and Hrutuja Deshmukh alongside scorer/analyst Ashok Dayma. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodnight and CHEERS!
Prashant Solanki (Eagle Nashik Titans Captain): "Definitely. We are happy. Excited to be in the finals and happy to do well. Happy to win the toss and the ball gets wet in the second innings. Groundsmen deserves credit for the way they are preparing pitches and helping us with good games. When I am bowling, I do not think about being captain and contribute to what the team needs as a bowler. Sahil is talented and has scored runs everywhere. Last year he was not there with us. He came in and this guy showed his class and calibre. We were very positive. Coach said it is do or die and we came out all guns blazing. We can chase anything down I feel. Atharva is playing a big role for us and he is showing his worth as finisher. As a cricketer, we want to play such games and we are happy and looking forward to the finals tomorrow. We are set to play against the Jets. Thank You."
Sahil Parikh (Player of the Match): "I have not been able to contribute to the team before. The coaches and captains supported me a lot and I repaid them today. Today Kaushal pushed me a lot and ran between the wickets as well. Enjoyed my game and enjoyed my natural game. Excited and hope to win the trophy. No target and go with the flow in the end and get the job done."
Player of the Match: Sahil Parikh.
Orange Cap Holder: Ankit Bawne.
Time for the presentations.
Rahul Tripathi (Kolhapur Tuskers Captain): "Yes, I think. The Titans batted well and in batting we missed 10-20 runs and pressure would have been big. Dropped catches and misfields and bad bowling on a bad day and we lost the battle. It happens. It was a good wicket and we knew it needed that. Was a good total but could have gotten 10-20 runs. Credit to them especially Sahil Parikh and Kale as well plus no balls as well. We lost a lot of key moments out there. I thing dropped catches and they batted well. The batters give you opportunity and you need to take that. I can't say that. The middle overs were where we lost. Had a good powerplay. Loved playing here. It's been a competitive one and a future platform for the youngsters doing well here. Thanks to the MCA for their support in this tournament. Enjoyed the journey of the team and would have loved to compete for the finals. But I am proud of the boys. Lot of good memories to take forward for us. Happy with the effort. Thank You."
11:13 pm IST and Local time: Welcome to this exciting second eliminator of MPL Season 2! Today, we have the Eagle Nashik Titans facing off against the Kolhapur Tuskers. In the first inning, the Kolhapur Tuskers scored 202 runs off 120 balls, setting a target for the Eagle Nashik Titans. As we witnessed just moments ago, the Eagle Nashik Titans clinched victory by 6 wickets.
The innings started with Mandar Bhandari scoring 19 runs off 10 balls. Arshin Kulkarni followed with a modest 15 runs off 15 balls. Then came the talented Sahil Parikh, who dazzled us with 68 runs off 33 balls, playing quickly, playing fast, and hitting some beautiful shots."
"Along came Kaushal Tambe, who played a short but effective partnership with Parikh, contributing 28 runs off 23 balls. In the end, it was Atharva Kale who stole the show, scoring an impressive 53 runs off just 20 balls, including 6 astonishing sixes. His powerful performance ensured that the Eagle Nashik Titans reached the finals. Kale played a crucial innings.

On the bowling side, the Kolhapur Tuskers struggled both in bowling and fielding today. Shreyash Chavan bowled 4 overs, conceding an expensive 47 runs while taking 2 wickets, but he also bowled quite a few no-balls. Atharva Dakway and Umar Shah each took 1 wicket.

And that's it, folks! The Eagle Nashik Titans are through to the finals with a 6-wicket victory. Stay tuned for the finals. Good night!"
