Azim Kazi (Ratnagiri Jets Captain): "The toss was crucial. It was important to focus on the basics and we were brilliant in executing our plans tonight. All the credit should go to the bowlers. Pradeep and Kunal were brilliant for us in the middle overs. Kunal did not get much chances this season but he has done well whenever he plays. We were looking to target the powerplay. I was enjoying Divyang's innings from the other end. In the timeout, we focus on basics. We are excited to play the finals. We will treat it as a normal game. We don't care who will be our opponent in the finale. We need to play our best cricket."
Kunal Thorat (POTM)- "I just followed the process and it worked for me very well. Our captain motivates us at every moment. Satyajeet Bachhav also provides us with valuable inputs at times. We have prepared well for the final as well, you will get to watch what we will be doing on that day."

Prashant Solanki (Eagle Nashik Titans Captain): "Yes, we kept losing wickets in the batting and then the end overs took us to the respectable total and we could not defend the score. We could have executed better in the powerplay and gave away 60 runs. Later we were catching up. They needed 7 runs an over and that was easy for them. Me and Waikar bowled tight lines but we got hit for boundaries. These are tricky totals. So, better powerplay and tighter lines would have helped. Takeaways is win the toss and then whatever comes in, give your 100% and smile always that's the way to go about it. Hope to bounce back in the next game."
23:36 IST and Local Time: ALL OVER! Ratnagiri Jets are into the grand finale of MPL 2024. On the other hand, Eagle Nashik Titans will get another chance in the Qualifier 2. A pretty comprehensive win for the defending champions and the dug out is all smiles.
Opting to bowl first, Ratnagiri Jets started well with the new ball and picked up one early wicket. They were slightly expensive post powerplay but were again brilliant in the middle overs and picked up wickets in clusters. Pradeep Dhadhe and Kunal Thorat were the game changers for them and picked up 4 and 3 wickets respectively.
With the bat, Eagle Nashik Titans were decent in the first half but their middle order collapsed post that which resulted in them not getting a good finish in the end. Skipper Arshin Kulkarni and Dhanraj Shinde were the top scorers for them and scored 52 and 36* runs respectively.
Coming to the chase, we had several delays due to weather but Ratnagiri Jets looked pretty comfortable throughout the chase. They did lose an early wicket but scored consistently in the middle overs. Divyang Hinganekar was the top scorer for them and scored 59 off just 37 balls. In the end, the impact player Abhishek Pawar sealed the game for his side and scored 42* off just 28 balls.
Nothing much to cherish for ENT tonight, their bowlers were a bit expensive and failed to pick up wickets at regular intervals. Mukesh Choudhary did pick up 2 wickets but was expensive.

6 SIX! Nikhil Naik finishes things off in style! Ratnagiri Jets are the defending champions and are through to the finals of MPL 2024. Coming to the ball, Fuller length delivery and in the slot, Naik uses his long levers and takes it on. He lofts it away over long-on as the ball sails over the fence for the maximum. The Ratnagiri Jets win by 6 wickets with 8 balls to spare to advance to the finals. Eagle Nashik Titans will get one more chance to qualify for the finals.
