In Reply, the new ball bowlers of India got the swing and were right on the money from ball one. Arshdeep Singh impressed with the new ball as he picked up a couple of wicket inside the powerplay. Bangladesh lost half of their side for just 41 runs in 8.2 overs.
Then came the two veterans of Bangladesh, Shakib Al Hasan & Mahmudullah Riyad who got together and added up a 75 runs partnership to get Bangladesh into a decent position in the run chase. Though the Bangla Tigers were playing catch up cricket from the start of the 2nd Innings, they lost the contest by 60 runs.
