That's it from this game of the T20 Blast 2024. Time to wrap it up. This is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Pritam Dey alongside scorer/analyst Dushyant Madhukar Kumar. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodnight and CHEERS!
22:01 IST & Local Time | Yorkshire have chase down the target with 3 balls to spare as they have defeated Worcestershire by 6 wickets.

Earlier in the day, Worcestershire did not get off to an ideal start with the bat as they lost the wicket of Ed Pollock for 10. The Worcestershire batters kept attacking throughout the Innings and ended up with a massive score on the board in a fantastic track to bat on.

Ethan Brookes was the top scorer for Worcestershire as he scored 44 off 21 balls. Brett D’Oliveira scored 42 off 28 balls, Joshua Cobb scored 34 off 22 balls and Rob Jones scored an unbeaten 35 off 25 balls.

These knocks by the Worcestershire batters helped them post up a huge total of 205 runs on the board. Jafer Chohan was the pick of the bowlers for Yorkshire with figures off 4/30. The Target for Yorkshire was 206 runs in their 20 overs.

In reply, Yorkshire got off to a watchful start as both the openers kept rotating strike and were unable to play the big shots inside the powerplay. After the field restrictions got over, both the batters started accelerating.

Adam Lyth’s struggle at the middle came to an end as he was dismissed for 22. Few cameo’s from James Wharton (24 off 12) and Jordan Thompson (40 off14) helped Yorkshire in order to get closer to the target.

The main man in the run chase was the England Cricketer, Dawid Malan who ended up with an unbeaten knock of 93 off 50 balls. The 5th wicket partnership between Malan and Thompson added up 49 runs off just 18 balls as Yorkshire won the game in the last over by 6 wickets. Ethan Brookes was the pick of the bowlers for Worcestershire as he picked up all 4 wickets of the Innings.
