Well that's all she wrote for today folks! Join us back tomorrow for more action from around the cricketing world!

Until then, this is Anirudh Modi, signing off along with my co-commentator Hiren Kumar, and our scorer/analyst Raju Khariya! See you on the next one!
Riley Meredith (Player of the Match): "Craig got first one through and we kept talking a lot out there as to how the ball was doing and the conditions. It is a really experienced team and there's so much knowledge in the dressing room. Really wanted to come here and play, got injured the last time I was here but to be here now is really cool.

It's a really calm dressing room. They know the process and trust the guys to do their role and I just try to do what I do, just bowl really well and take wickets up top."
Riley Meredith is the Player of the Match!
Lewis Gregory (Somerset Captain): "It's nice, the bowlers made it a lot easier for us. Pretty good surface and there was a little bit in it for the quicks and they kept coming hard at the batters. You want to get on a roll in this format and hopefully we put in a good performance on Friday. Meredith is a brilliant guy and he bowled some rockets for us today. We hit the pitch hard and took wickets early, nice having quality bowlers with pace up front.

The batters assessed the conditions really well and played brilliantly to get the game home."
Stephen Eskinazi (Middlesex Captain): "Incredibly disappointing night, it was quite a surprise. Surface played a bit different today and then world class bowling from them, so a perfect storm for us. We have to change things around quickly because we play on the same surface on Thursday night. It's tricky when you are batting first because you need to asses the correct score. I'd rather not change the way we approach the next game but certainly some learnings for us.

We are trying to play our cricket a certain way and build an identity, but you have these anomaly type games every now and then. Fantastic bowling from them and the game was finished after 8 overs. It would have been interesting to see how he would have played that and if you are watching big fella we could have used you today."
Time for the post match presentation ceremony..
1:23 AM IST, 8:53 PM Local Time | With that, Somerset complete a dominant victory over Middlesex! They thump their opposition to win by 9 wickets and chase down a double digit total successfully.

Somerset won the toss and elected to bowl first, and that decision proved to be a match winning one as their bowling unit led by Riley Meredith's brilliant 4/13 bundled out Middlesex for a poor score of 78 ALL OUT in 16.3 overs.

Come the chase, Somerset were under no pressure what-so-ever. However, Helm gave them early jitters as he dismissed Will Smeed for a single run in the first over itself. Although, that was the last bit of celebration for Middlesex.

Tom Banton and Tom Kohler-Cadmore ensured they did not repeat the mistakes of their opposition and stitched together a 79 run unbeaten partnership to take their team over the finish line. Tom Banton missed out on his half-century by a single run, scoring an unbeaten 49 runs off 42 balls while Tom Kohler-Cadmore finished unbeaten at 30 runs from 30 balls!

In the end, it was Somerset who crush Middlesex today as both teams will now move on from this anomaly of a game and focus on their next clashes in the T20 Blast!
