That's the end of the 2nd Women's ODI encounter between Ireland Women and Sri Lanka Women. Ireland Women lead the 3 Match ODI Series 2-0 with a game to spare.

For now, this is Pritam Dey signing off on behalf of co-commentator Anirudh Modi who, along with scorer/analysts Dushyant Madhukar Kumar brought all the actions of this clash. Stay tuned for more cricketing action from around the world.
Orla Prendergast (Ireland): "We knew that they got a lot of big wickets at the top of the order, and it was something we wanted to expose and got that quick wickets. Credit to the partnership they built too, but we managed to win.

They were charging the whole time really, and we just needed one big wicket with Aimee bowling in tandem, and once we got that we would be back in the game.

The depth we have created in the last few years is huge, Leah was incredible today and others contributed well, each game is huge. I enjoyed captaincy today, it comes with a lot of challenges that I haven't faced in the past but it's a good experience."
Chamari Athapaththu (Sri Lanka Women Captain) : "Actually I feel we didnot bat well in the last 10 overs. Two run outs and some poor shots were really disappointing from us.

Yeah definitely we were on top of the game in the run chase but we need to improve in our decision making because if we don't at the earliest we might lose the final game of the series as well. We have to improve in our bowling and fielding too."
Leah Paul (Player of the Match): "I find myself in a new role in the middle order but I just wanted to build a partnership and then I got to bat with my friend Rebecca and that was nice.

You can see that confidence, and we know each other's game really well and we also have a bit of fun in the middle. We were happy with potentially a few more but we knew if we bowl well, we can defend it."

Then the collapse started for Sri Lanka. From 172/2 they were down to 214/9. Harshitha Samarawickrama (105 off 124), the centurion was run-out due to a massive miscommunication with Hasini Perera and thats where everything changed in the complexion of the game.

W WICKET! BOWLED HER! Kelly has done it for Ireland! Sri Lanka's valiant effort comes to an end! Ireland win the series 2-0 with an ODI to spare! Length delivery, on the off stump, she gets through Prabodhani's defenses to knock the bails over!
47.5 A Kelly to Silva
1 Full length delivery, on the off stump, swats it away through cow corner for a single.
47.4 A Kelly to Silva
2 Good length delivery, on the stumps, advances and swats it to deep backward square to scamper back for a couple.
47.3 A Kelly to Silva
0 Full length delivery, outside the off stump, shuffles across and goes for the ramp again but does not get it right.
19 runs are required off 16 balls now.
47.2 A Kelly to Silva
4 FOUR! Sri Lanka are still holding onto it! Can de Silva pull it off? Full length delivery, on the off stump, slower one, de Silva watches it all the way and heaves it over cow corner to send it crashing into the ropes!
