That wraps up our coverage of the match between the Guyana Amazon Warriors and the St Lucia Kings. The Warriors outclassed the Kings in what turned out to be a one-sided affair.

This is Ajay Pal Singh signing off with my colleagues Saptak Sanyal and Ashok Dayma. Goodbye for now, we’ll meet again soon.
Imran Tahir(Guyana Amazon Warriors Captain): "Look I'm hapy that it came out nicely and I did fine for my team. Motie came in the middle and he also did well. Good to see our plans getting successful. Happy regarding the victory.

See we deserve the one week break(chuckles). Barbados isa wonderful place to play the game. We will take some rest and come back. I am thankful to Guyana crowd as they have supported us throughout. I want to thank them for everything."
Faf du Plessis (St Lucia Kings Captain): "Well extremely disappointing. Need to assess the conditions better, losing wickets consistently. It was a below par total and was always going to be tricky to defend.

For me, it was just about assessing the conditions. In St Kitts, you don't mind guys having a crack and having a positive approach but on a new wicket, you can probably take your time and take the shine off. You always try to be positive but that is the learning from tonight.

Two tough games in a row, but that's how you learn. We will reassess and see where we can get better tactically. Tonight wasn't our best. Most of our wickets were our batters throwing it away."
Gudakesh Motie(Player of the Match): "The wicket was good for batting and the outfield was wet. Hitting the right areas was the key. I am working hard now and happy to get the reward. Playing under Imran Tahir is a different experience. He is an excellent bowler and guides the youngsters."

7:04 AM IST & 9:34 PM Local Time: That's it. Guyana Amazon Warriors have demolished the St Lucia Kings by 6 wickets and 10 overs to spare. Nothing went right for the Kings since the start of the game. They were bowled out for 100 and then a Rahmanullah Gurbaz special knocked them out of the game.

Earlier in the match, the Guyana Amazon Warriors won the toss and chose to bowl first. Imran Tahir and Gudakesh Motie picked up three wickets each to help the defending champions bowl out the Kings for a paltry total of 100.

In response, Tim Robinson, playing his first game in the CPL, gave the Warriors a flying start along with Rahmanullah Gurbaz. They added 62 runs in 5.2 overs. Robinson was the first to depart.

Gurbaz carried on and raced to 47 off just 19 balls. He smashed 7 huge sixes during his stay in the middle. Shai Hope also hit a six during his knock of 11 off 12.

Azam Khan's poor tournament with the bat continued as he was bounced out by Alzarri Joseph. Keemo Paul and Shimron Hetmyer made sure that there were no more hiccups and got the team over the line in 10 overs.

Noor Ahmad was the pick of the bowlers for the Kings, finishing with figures of 3/22.

W WICKET!!! Shai Hope tries to finish it in style but perishes. Full delivery at the fourth stump with a hint of turning away. Hope gets down on one knee to hit it over long off. He gets beaten by the turn and finds the fielder at long off.
