So, that also brings an end to our coverage of this game between iDream Tiruppur Tamizhans and Trichy Grand Cholas. Do join us for the last two league games which are scheduled tomorrow. For now, this is me Hiren Kumar, signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Ayan and scorer/analyst Zeeshan Naiyer.
R Sai Kishore (iDream Tiruppur Tamizhans Captain): "Feeling good. The situation that we were in and the way we have come back shows character. Coming back from 67/6 was a great effort and the boys did well and showed character. The situation was there to grab and Bafna grabbed it with both hands. Ganesh played well as well. Happy to be in the playoffs and doing well. Hope to do well there. Let's see where we finish in the points table. Thank You."
T Natarajan (Player of the Match): "Very happy. It was a must win game for us and very happy to perform on this venue. We have toiled hard to make it to the playoffs.

We had a young team, made a plan and it has worked for us. All credit to coach and captain. It was not easy to defend to 160 here. Maan Bafna was excellent and had a good partnership."
Player of the Match: T Natarajan.
Maximum Fours of the Match: S Ganesh.
Sixes of the Match: P Nirmal Kumar
Dependable Player of the Match: Maan K Bafna
High Voltage Player of the Match: B Anirudh Sita Ram.
Safe Hands: Mohamed Ali.
Most Number of Dot Balls: T Natarajan
Golden Wicket: T Natarajan.
Striker of the Match: Maan K Bafna.
Time for the presentations.
The four teams that have qualified for the playoffs are Lyca Kovai Kings, Chepauk Super Gillies, Dindigul Dragons and iDream Tiruppur Tamizhans. How they finish will be found out after tomorrow's games.
Antony Dhas (Trichy Grand Cholas Captain): "The start was good from us. First 6-7 overs were good but then we let it slip. Ganesh and Bafna played well. We let it slip in the field and they built a good partnership to get to 170 runs. Overall, a good tournament for us. Plenty of positives for us going forward and the Cholas have done well. Missed out on playoffs by a whisker. Congrats to Tamizhans. But we have done well and come back well from previous seasons. But we will hope to come back next season."
22:35 IST and Local Time: ALL OVER! iDream Tiruppur Tamizhans win by 47 runs and are through to the playoffs. The dug out is all smiles. This is also the first time that iDream Tiruppur are into the playoffs in the TNPL history. So, here is how this do-or-die game panned out.

Put to bat first, iDream Tiruppur posted a decent total of 169 on the board. They started poorly but did well to finish on a high. Maan Bafna was brilliant for them lower down the order and scored a brilliant fifty. S Ganesh was also impressive and scored 39 which helped them post a decent score on the board.

With the ball, Trichy was outstanding with the new ball but were poor in the second half and leaked too many in the death overs. Athisayaraj Davidson was the pick of the bowlers for them and picked up 4 wickets to his name.

Coming to the chase, Trichy were on the backfoot straightaway and kept losing wickets at regular intervals. None of their batters could not convert their starts. Nirmal Kumar was the only batter who fought out in the middle and played a decent knock of 46 runs.

With the ball, the Tiruppur bowlers had the momentum with them and were spot on to defend the total. T Natarajan was the pick of the bowlers for them and ended with the figures of 3/6 in his 3 overs. Skipper Sai Kishore and Ajith Ram also bowled well and picked up 2 and 3 wickets respectively.

So, we now have all the four teams who have qualified for the playoffs with two more league games remaining. Stay around for the presentations.
Gone this time.
