Time for us to bid adieu from this game. This is me, Saptak Sanyal signing off on the behalf of my co-commentators Hiren Kumar and Aditya Agarwal and our scorer/analyst Raju Khariya. Good night
Ravisrinivasan Sai Kishore(iDream Tiruppur Tamizhans Captain): "Feeling good. Winning is always important. I want to give credit to the NRK batters. But our guys have stepped up and it is a good thing to see. Tushar Raheja, Amith Sathvik and S Radhakrishnan are great guys to have at the top order.

We need to play our best cricket and I think we have a great chance to lift the trophy from here on."
T Natarajan (Player of the match): "Very happy. It was a must win game for us. I executed my plans well and bowled to my strengths and bowled according to the field. We will follow the same preparations for the next game as well. We have a couple of days off and we will look to relax."

KB Arun Karthik (Nellai Royal Kings Captain): "To start off with, I think Tushar played a blinder off a knock at the top for them. Our batters also did well and took the game deep. Very proud of the batting unit.

Our bowlers could have done better. Easwaran and Sonu Yadav both are crucial part of the team and they played brilliantly tonight. I want them to play the IPL and also play for India."
22:57 IST and Local Time | In a nail-biting encounter, iDream Tiruppur Tamizhans have come out with flying colours by defeating Nellai Royal Kings by a margin of mere 5 runs.

Coming to bat first after losing the toss, iDream Tiruppur Tamizhans lost their in-form opener Amith Sathvik for a golden duck. But Tushar Raheja had some other plans. He tonked the Nellai pacers here and there to score 41 runs off just 13 balls before getting dismissed. His innings consisted of 5 fours and 3 maximums.

After his dismissal, Sundaraman Radhakrishnan took the charge and he smashed the spinners to score a half-century of 34 balls with 9 boundaries but hw got out in the very next ball. B Anirudh Sita Ram failed to score big as he departed for a run-a-ball 14. Skipper Sai Kishore promoted himself up in the order but only contributed 2 runs. It was the partnership between Mohamed Ali and S Ganesh that helped the Tamizhans to reach the 189 run mark. Mohamed Ali scored 35 while S Ganesh scored 36 before getting dismissed in the final ball of the innings.

Ragupathy Silambarasan was the star of the bowling show for Nellai-based franchise picking up 3 wickets. Emmanuel Cherian, Sonu Yadav, NS Harish and Gokul Moorthi took one wicket each.

Chasing the run, Nellai Royal Kings started it in style with Arun Karthik getting off the mark with a maximum very first ball. But they lost G Ajitesh in the third ball of the innings for a golden duck. Impact substitute Nidhish Rajagopal batted for 4 balls to contribute just 1 run. Arun Karthik however, continued to hit the boundaries whenever he got a loose ball. He lost his partner S J Arun Kumar for 6 runs but he completed his fifty. Nellai skipper got out on 51 off 36 balls hitting 7 fours and a maximum.

But Sonu Yadav and Rithik Easwaran took the charge to carry the chase forward. They registered a 87 run partnership between them playing sensibly. Sonu Yadav departed scoring 40 runs of 23 balls and soon after they lost the newcomer NS Harish. 25 runs were required from the final two overs and the only threat remaining for the Tamizhans was Rithik Easwaran, who was batting solidly and got his fifty just a while earlier. But the penultimate over bowled by P Bhuvaneswaran saw three wickets falling with one being of Easwaran's, who scored 59 from 35 balls. With 22 runs required of the final over, Lakshay Jain and Ragupathy Silambarasan hit one six each but it was not enough for their side.

T Natarajan was the star of the innings picking up 4 wickets. Impact player Ramalingam Rohit took 3 wickets to exert the highest impact. P Bhuvaneswaran and skipper Ravisrinivasan Sai Kishore took one wicket each.

Stick around for the post-match presentations.
