So, India bounce back and level the series. The third game will be played at the same venue on Wednesday. Let's see which side takes the lead in the series on Wednesday. For now, it's time for us to take your leave. Keep joining us for more cricketing action all around the globe. This is Akshay Bhide, signing off, on behalf of my co-commentator AkshayaKrishna Polya and scorer Paras Yadav. Until next time, cheers and good bye.
Shubman Gill (India Captain): "Very happy. Great to be back on the winning note again. Really excited and happy with our performance today.

Definitely. The way Abhishek and Rutu batted. It wasn't easy batting in the powerplay. It was a delight to watch them bat.

I think yesterday, it was more about us being under pressure and not able to handle it. There have been many young guys and they don't have much experience. It was good for us that the pressure game came at us early in the series and happy to see how the young guys responded today.

Very happy. Hopefully, we have got three more matches and the batters will keep firing.

It's always good to have more options than have no options."
Abhishek Sharma (POTM): "I think it was a pretty good performance from me today. It was not a good outing with the bat yesterday. Not only for me but also for other batters.

It was a good performance after the defeat yesterday. A positive thing was that we didn't have much time to think about it.

I felt that T20 is all about the momentum. I thought it was my day today.

Special thanks to the coaches and captain for keeping the confidence. I feel like if it's your day, you express yourself. After the drop I thought it was my day and had to take responsibility.

Ruturaj Gaikwad helped me in keeping perspective. We spoke after every ball and he helped me as well. He asked me to bat long and said that hitting balls would come my way.

I always believe in my hitting ability. It's about momentum for me. If it's in the arc, I believe I need to hit it over, regardless of when it is.

Thank you very much!"
PLAYER OF THE MATCH: Abhishek Sharma
Sikandar Raza (Zimbabwe Captain): "Yeah, listen, the World Champions will eventually play like World Champions. The wicket was good. You were going to get hit if you missed your mark. But I thought our fielding was not up to the mark. Four catches hurt us.

I expected 200. I feel they got 30-40 runs more. Things would have been different had we got a good start. But again, the top-order is not scoring consistently as we would have liked.

Blessing has been our go-to guy for us since the Bangladesh series. As I said before, his graph is going to get better and he will keep bowling in the same way as long as he is fit.

Our batting, it is a task that we have been speaking for a long time now. Today, the guys came out firing. Some mistakes were done but I feel the guys will learn from it."
7:56 PM IST, 4:26 PM Local Time: Time for a post-match presentation.
Sanju Samson, who flew to Zimbabwe yesterday, has joined the squad and was seen enjoying the game today!
Ravi Bishnoi: "It was a disappointing effort in the previous game. We just followed the process and trusted our game today.

It doesn't matter how you perform individually; it's the end result of what you want. I picked up 4 wickets in the last game, but we lost. Today, I picked up 2 wickets, but we won.

There is not much turn on offer, but the ball skids nicely here. That is what I try to do - hurrying the batters.

The celebration won't stop anytime soon. India won the World Cup, it has been a long wait, and we will keep celebrating it for a long time."

Shubman Gill leads the side to the dressing room. First win in Indian colours for the young skipper!
7:44 PM IST, 4:14 PM Local Time: That’s it. India bounce back in the five-match T20I series after losing the opener the other day. They beat Zimbabwe comprehensively by 100 runs to level the series. The things were set up nicely by the Indian batters which helped them post a mammoth total on the board. The bowlers then stepped up and defended it successfully to grab their first win on this tour.

Chasing 235 was always going to be an uphill task for Zimbabwe and they got off to a worst possible start. Innocent Kaia (4) was cleaned in the very first over. Brian Bennet came out all guns blazing and played a fantastic cameo of 9-ball 26 before losing his stumps in the third over. Avesh Khan dismissed Dion Myers (0) and skipper Sikandar Raza (4) as the scoreboard read 58/4 at the end of the powerplay.

Wessly Madhevere struggled to get going. He along with Johnathan Campbell tried to build a partnership but the latter fell on 10 while trying to up the ante. Clive Madande fell without troubling the scorers. Madhevere’s fighting knock of 43 came to an end in the 17th over. Luke Jongwe scored 33 before falling in the penultimate over as Zimbabwe got bundled out on 134 to lose the game by 100 runs. For India, Mukesh Kumar and Avesh Khan picked up three wickets each. Ravi Bishnoi also chipped in with two scalps.

Earlier, India elected to bat first and lost their skipper Shubman Gill cheaply on two in the second over. Ruturaj Gaikwad joined Abhishek Sharma at the crease and both led the recovery work. Both took their time to settle in and started pressing on the accelerator after getting their eye in. Abhishek brought up his fifty in quick time.

Abhishek went berserk after reaching his fifty and Gaikwad played the role of an anchor perfectly at the other end. Abhishek hit a hat-trick of maximums to bring up his maiden T20I hundred off just 46 balls. He fell on the very next ball. Rinku Singh joined Gaikwad at the crease. India scored 160 in the last 10 overs as India finished their innings on 234/2, the highest team total against Zimbabwe in T20Is. Gaikwad and Rinku remained unbeaten on 77 and 48 to provide a perfect finish.

Stick around for the post-match presentation.
18.4 M Kumar to L Jongwe
W WICKETTT!!!! That is the end of the game! India win by 100 runs and get one back at Zimbabwe! The series is levelled at 1-1 with 3 games left in the assignment! Mukesh Kumar puts the full stop to the hosts innings as they are bundled out for 134 in the penultimate over. Full outside the off stump. Jongwe has to reach for it and opens the bat face to slice it aerially straight down the throat of Gaikwad riding the deep backward point fence. A good catch in the deep and smiles are back in the visitors camp!
18.3 M Kumar to L Jongwe
2 FREE-HIT! Off cutter, length, outside the off stump. Jongwe reaches for it and slashes this 107 kmph delivery to deep point for a couple.
