(On Annabel Sutherland) Well she has been brilliant throughout the tournament for us with both bat and ball so I just hope she keeps going with the same way in our coming games.
Yeah we tried to set our standards in order to be better in the field. Really pleased with the effort today from our players. The way Sutherland went about her game today at the middle, it really satisfied all of us.
I think the way Annabel Sutherland was batting at the middle, anything over 130 would have been a brilliant total.

It felt like you could hit through the line. Really proud of the group. I thought we were under par with such a good wicket but we had the belief in our bowling group that we could defend it.

Earlier in the day, the Northern Superchargers were put into bat by Sophie Ecclestone. The Superchargers got of to a decent start with the bat.
The openers, Davina Perrin (16 off 15) and Skipper, Hollie Armitage (22 off 18) got the home side to a good start. The third wicket partnership between Phoebe Litchfield and Annabel Sutherland added a quickfire 39 runs where the latter batted till the end and played a fantastic knock of 44 off 26 balls.
In a belter of a surface, Northern Superchargers managed to score 138/4 in their 100 balls. Lauren Filer (2/16) was the pick of the bowlers for the Manchester Originals. The Manchester Originals Women required to chase down 139 runs in their 100 balls.
