What a game we just witnessed. Southern Brave beat Birmingham Phoenix in the Super 5 to seal a place in the final of the Men's Hundred 2024. They will face the Oval Invincibles at the home of cricket i.e. the Lord's Cricket Ground in London. Do join us for that exciting clash on Sunday.

It's time for us to take your leave. This is Akshay Bhide, signing off, on behalf of my co-commentator Ajay Pal Singh and scorer Paras Yadav. Until next time, cheers and good night.
Jofra Archer (Hero of the Match): "Just relieved to be honest. I felt I gave it away in the second last over against Livi.

I feel like you just have to commit to it. Some days it happens and some days it doesn't. Lucky that it worked today.

We have got 11 match winners and the guys that are not in the 11 are the match-winners as well. It's just about having that belief.

(On recovery before the final) Probably, put on compression boots, lot of physios and a bit of meds."

1:45 AM IST & 9:15 PM Local Time: Phew what a thriller we have had in London and Southern Brave wins it in the Super 5. They will head to Lord's Cricket Ground on Sunday to play the Men's Hundred final against Oval Invincibles. Chris Jordan finishes the game with a thumping boundary and ensures his team will feature in the summit clash.

Earlier in the match, Birmingham Phoenix won the toss and opted to bowl. Adam Milne strikes on the second ball of the match to dismiss Alex Davies for a silver duck.

Leus du Plooy and James Vince then added 76 runs for the second wicket. Vince made 43 off 35. Leus du Plooy scored 39 off 32. There was hardly any other contribution with the bat. Laurie Evans scored 14, and Chris Jordan remained unbeaten on 20.

None of the other batters managed to get to double figures. Adam Milne picked up three wickets, while Chris Wood, Sean Abbott and Benny Howell all got one wicket apiece.

In response, Ben Duckett fell cheaply, scoring his first single-digit score of the tournament. He departed for 7. Skipper Moeen Ali made 24 off 25 in a scracthy knock that was ended by Akeal Hosein.

Jamie Smith too failed to make a mark and perished for 10 off 9. Liam Livingstone got a reprieve when he was on 7. He made the Southern Brave pay by scoring a fighting half-century.

With just 3 runs needed to win, he went for the glory shot and perished. This allowed the Brave to take the game to the Super 5.

In the Super 5 Archer bowled well and restricted the Birmingham Phoenix to 7. In response, Chris Jordan and Kieron Pollard walked out for the chase. Adam Milne tried his best but he failed to defend 7 runs.
Jordan finishes off the game in style. Southern Brave will play the final at Lord's.
4b A Milne to C Jordan
4 FOUR!!! Chris Jordan wins it for Southern Brave. Takes his side into the final. Milne bowls a back of a length delivery on the stumps and Jordan is very quick to get into the position as he pulls it powerfully in front of square in the leg side. Beats deep mid wicket to his right and collects a one-bounce boundary. Finishes things in style and Southern Brave beat Birmingham Phoenix in the Super 5 to book a place in the final.
The scores are level now. Pollard comes charging back for the second. 2 balls left now and just one run needed by the Brave to get to the final. Moeen Ali is bringing the fielders inside the circle.
3b A Milne to C Jordan
2 Milne overpitches this one on the stumps, Jordan presents the full face of the bat and drives it straight down the ground. By the time Livingstone from long on gets to the ball and releases it, the batters complete two quick runs. 1 required from 2 now.
A lucky boundary for Chris Jordan but Southern Brave will take it with both hands. The equation is now down to 3 off 3.
2b A Milne to C Jordan
4 FOUR!!! Inside edge and four. A streaky boundary but Southern Brave will take it. Mile with a good length delivery honing in on the stumps, Jordan pushes at it and gets an inside edge past the leg stump. The long leg fielder runs to his right but has no chance of getting close to the ball. 3 required from 3 now.
A fumble by Ben Duckett and it allows Pollard to take a single. He went at the wrong end with the throw.
1b A Milne to K Pollard
1 Milne from over the wicket bowls it full on the stumps, Pollard makes room and swings at it. He gets it off the inner half of the bat to mid wicket. Duckett fumbles and the batters sneak a quick run. Duckett has a shy at the stumps at the bowler's end but misses. He should have gone at the striker's end where Jordan was still at the halfway mark.

1:34 AM IST & 9:04 PM Local Time: Time for the second innings of the Super 5. Southern Brave need 8 runs to get to the final. Adam Milne will bowl the five decisive deliveries. The players are walking out on the field. Kieron Pollard and Chris Jordan are the two batters out in the middle for Southern Brave.
1:32 AM IST, 9:02 PM Local Time: End of the first innings of Super Five. Brilliant bowling from Jofra Archer for Southern Brave as he concedes only seven runs in his five balls. Birmingham Phoenix lost Liam Livingstone on the very first ball and Jacob Bethell and Jamie Smith have taken them to seven. Will it be enough? Only time will tell. Remember, if this Super Five ends in a tie, we will have another Super Five.
