That is the end of a Sam Curran-dominated London Derby, with Oval Invincibles winning. There are other matches across the globe coming live on our platform. Don't forget to switch tabs.

For now, this is me AkshayaKrishna Polya, signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Deepak Prakash and scorer/analyst Paras Yadav, who brought you all the live action of this mouth-watering fixture. We will meet again. Until then, its cheers!
Sam Billings (Oval Invincibles Captain): "I felt I had the best chance against the spin. As soon as the spin went off, against the pace, when we had Ferreira and Tom Curran at the back end, it was pretty much made up. At the end of the day it's about trying to maximise those 100 balls. It's just taking a right call for the team at the end of the today.

Sam Curran is one the best all-rounders. He can contribute in any form. Be it with the ball, on the field or with the bat as well."
Sam Curran (Player of the Match): "I've had a few battles with Russell over the years. It was either me or him. Thankfully, he edged it. But most importantly, we got the win. The wicket was fractionally slow. We all complemented each other really well. When Hetmyer and Russell were there and Dan Lawrence was playing really well. It's never over with those kinds of players."
MATCH HERO: Sam Curran
9:50 PM IST, 17:20 Local Time: Invincibles win the London Derby and it was all about Sam Curran vs Oval Invincibles! The 26-year-old was the star of the show in the London Derby, dominating with both bat and ball. Curran pummeled Spirit bowlers in the first innings and then wreaked havoc with the ball, grabbing a hat-trick of wickets in the process. His all-round brilliance led Oval Invincibles to a 30-run victory over Spirit.

Earlier, After deciding to bat first, Invincibles got off to a lackluster start, losing Will Jacks (2) and Jordan Cox (14) cheaply. Spirit bowlers bowled in the right areas and didn't allow the batters to free their arms in the first half of the innings.

Dawid Malan took his time to settle at the crease, but just when he got going, Critchley got the better of the southpaw, trapping him for 38 runs off 29 balls. Sam Billings struggled to time the ball and retired himself out, scoring 17 runs off 22 balls.

On the strip where other batters struggled to time the ball, Sam Curran came out all guns blazing and took his side out of a dire situation. The southpaw smashed an unbeaten 51 runs off 22 balls and helped his side get close to a 150-run total.

Spirit bowlers failed to sustain momentum in the tail end of the innings and leaked too many runs. Olly Stone, Liam Dawson, Nathan Ellis, and Matthew Critchley contributed one wicket each for London Spirit.

In pursuit of 147 runs, Spirit got off to a decent start with Michael-Kyle Pepper (20 off 21) and Keaton Jennings (14 off 9) adding 39 runs for the opening wicket. However, both openers quickly returned to the pavilion after the powerplay. Daniel Lawrence (27 off 18) and Shimron Hetmyer (20 off 21) tried to steady the ship, but both were taken care by Adam Zampa.

Invincibles maintained control, and Sam Curran stole the limelight with breathtaking bowling in his final two sets. The pacer grabbed a hat-trick of wickets and trapped five Spirit batters in his final two sets, skittling Spirit to 117 runs in 95 balls.
It was a dismal batting performance from Spirit batters as they looked clueless against Curran and fell like nine pins.

Sam Curran finished his spell with impressive figures of 5/16.
Adam Zampa chipped in with three wickets, while Will Jacks and Nathan Sowter contributed a solitary wicket to Spirit's downfall.
