That is the end of our coverage! A Trent Rockets domination all the way. This is me AkshayaKrishna Polya, your text commentator, signing off on behalf of our scorer/analyst Paras Yadav, who brought you all the live-action of this enthralling game of cricket. Stay tuned with us for the matches across the globe. We will meet again. Until then, it's cheers!
Lewis Gregory (Trent Rockets Captain): "(On Chris Green, one match replacement for Rashid Khan) Green had a day out. In the first half, we were excellent, then clinical with the ball. What an entrance; it's a shame he is going. A couple of rounds of golf (about warm-up before the competition due to the England vs West Indies 2nd Test at Trent Bridge)."
Chris Green (Match Hero): "One game, one game only! It looked like fun! I loved my time at the Rockets. It was a short time but sweet!

Yeah, I got a tap on my shoulders from my coach. A bit confusing with the balls. I padded up early and had a shot with the bat. I got some handy runs. I enjoyed my time in the middle with the bat and then with the ball.

I saw Parkinson and Rashid bowling earlier. It was conducive to spin. I held my length back. It was holding up a bit. If you held a length and tried to spin it, there was enough there. A lot of runs to put him under pressure.

Only been here for five days, enjoyed time with Andy Flower, great group of guys."

1:43 AM IST and 21:13 Local Time: A Trent Rockets-dominated day in The Hundred Season 4! The Rockets men's team followed the Rockets Women's team with a win! A cracking batting performance backed up by a complete bowling display to win their opening match of the new edition by 47 runs!

Earlier in the match, Northern Superchargers won the toss and opted to bowl first. On the back of a blistering half-century from Tom Banton (66 off 38) and Sam Hain's (49 off 28) classy batting display put a solid platform for the Rockets before Chris Green's lusty cameo pushed the Trent-based franchise to a massive score of 185/5 in 100 balls.

Ben Dwarshuis and Matthew Potts picked up a couple of wickets, while the spinners - Callum Parkinson and Adil Rashid - were wicketless but economical. Matthew Short and Jordan Clark were taken to the cleaners.

It was always a mountain to climb for the Superchargers but Ollie Robinson (25 off 17) and Graham Clark (17 off 12) gave a good start, adding 41 runs for the opening wicket. A flurry of wickets halted the Superchargers, and they were reduced to 71/1 in 63 balls. Nicholas Pooran, who hasn't had a decent night's sleep due to travelling from the United States of America, too, struggled for his 15-ball 10.

A 57-run 8th wicket stand between Matthew Potts (24 off 18) and Ben Dwarshuis (40* off 20) only reduced the losing margin in the end as Northern Superchargers got to 138/8 in 100 balls.

Green was the star of the show with the ball as well, bagging a three-wicket haul while conceding just 14 runs in his four sets. Lewis Gregory (2/21), Imad Wasim (1/13) and Luke Wood (1/26) were the other bowlers amongst the wickets. Sam Cook (0/30) and Ollie Robinson (0/28) were wicketless and conceded a few runs.

Stay tuned for the post-match presentations!

1 That is the end of the contest! Trent Rockets win by 47 runs and begin the new season on a high! Full on the stumps. Dwarshuis clears his front leg and swings too hard. Fails to get underneath it and miscues it aerially towards long off. It falls in front of the fielder at the mentioned-position and the batters take one run.
99b L Wood to B Dwarshuis
4 FOUR MORE!!! 2 boundaries in 2 balls for Dwarshuis! Remember, he is the partial replacement of Ben Stokes, so he has to perform with both bat and ball! 65 mph. Slower ball full and outside off. Dwarshuis reaches for it and throws his hands at it, slicing it in front of square in the off side for a boundary, beating the chase of deep cover point to his left.
98b L Wood to B Dwarshuis
4 FOURRRRR!!! Length ball on the leg stump. Dwarshuis backs away and lifts it over the head of the non-striker. Hits it off the inner half of the bat but has a decent timing and power behind it to beat the chase of Powell to his right at long on for a boundary.
97b L Wood to A Rashid
1 Adil Rashid is in at 10. Full on the stumps. Driven to mid off for a run to get off the mark.

96b L Wood to M Potts
W WICKETTT!!!! Luke Wood to bowl the final set of the match! Over the wicket. 66 mph. Begins with a full and back of the hand slower ball on the middle stump. Potts clears his front leg and hoicks across the line. A wild swing of the bat without knowing the change in pace. Misses it on the inside edge and watches the stumps get disturbed. Wood is amongst the wickets now!

95b Cook to B Dwarshuis
1 Good length outside off. Dwarshuis clears his front leg and hoicks it to Powell's left at long on for a single. End of a wicketless stint with the ball for Cook!
94b Cook to B Dwarshuis
2 Around the wicket. 80 mph. Short of a length on the off stump. Dwarshuis pulls it to the left of deep mid wicket for a double as the fielder fumbles in the deep.
93b Cook to M Potts
1 Back of the hand slower ball, on a length outside the off stump. 66 mph. Potts adjusts well and flat bats it to long on for a run.
