After being put into bat, the Tigers were provided with a decent start by Cox (27). But once their opening partnership was broken, the Tigers went on to have a horrible collapse. Coming in to chase a target of 83 runs. Samp Army were provided with a fine start by Gous who went on to score 42 off 20 balls. He did the bulk of the scoring for Samp Army before being dismissed which kept them well ahead in this run-chase. Later, Moeen and Najibullah got their side across the line with 10 balls to spare.
Defending their total, the Tigers needed timely wickets which their bowlers couldn't provide. Apart from Sams and Gabriel, everyone else got a wicket each. But overall, the Tigers couldn't keep the squeeze on and lost the game.
