Milestone
That's it from the coverage of this game. We will be back with more cricketing actions from around the world in the coming days. For now, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Deepak Prakash and Pritam Dey alongside scorer/analyst Zeeshan Naiyer. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodnight and CHEERS!
Heather Knight (England Women Captain): ""Yeah really please the way we performed today exactly the way we performed the other day as well. Coming out of the dressing room onto the field, we always wanted to perform better and the way our bowlers executed their line and lengths were phenomenal. Yeah it does, Sophie has been sensational as always and the way she keeps picking wickets is just brilliant.

She always wants to be in hot spots otherwise she gets bored. We have some world class spinners in our squad and I am just so proud of the way they performed as a unit. Aah its really special to see Maia get her 1st WODI Hundred, we were on the balcony waiting to see her get over the line and super happy she got the hundred. Yeah we want to have a little chat when we go to Bristol with regards to making any changes for the next WODI game or not."
Sophie Devine (New Zealand Women Captain): "I think some pretty similar trends from last game happened, we couldnot bat the full 50 overs with the bat and with the ball we were way poor with our line and lengths. With the way Maia Bouchier was batting, you got to be on the money but we could not do that again today.

We have to get a lot of things done in the drawing board as its yet another disappointing performance. We have yet another opportunity in Bristol and hope we turnaround in that one. There is some big cricket coming up later this year too but its better we perform well in the coming games."
Maia Bouchier (Player of the Match): "Yeah definitely I enjoyed it and I worked really hard to get to this point. It feel brilliant to get the hundred in front of the home fans. Yeah the wait was long but I kept my process going and the 100 is just a number. I didnot discuss with Nat Sciver-Brunt about my hundred (to play dot balls) but I was just thinking she doesn't smack one out of the park and she didnt.

Yeah, I think it will give me a lot of confidence going forward in WODI Cricket and I wanted to bat as many overs as I can so I have been working really hard to get to this level and I am proud of myself. I think I have struggled a bit as well, coming into to this team I have developed the philosophy of playing for the team and keep playing the way I am and they have backed me a lot."
Player of the Match : Maia Bouchier
8:21 PM IST, 3:51 PM Local Time: That's it! Maia Bouchier completes her maiden ODI hundred and hits the winning runs as England Women win this game by 8 wickets with plenty of overs to spare to clinch the series 2-0 with a game to spare. They have outplayed the White Ferns in all facets of the game and deserve the win today and the series win as a whole. New Zealand haven't been good enough to be honest.

Chasing a paltry score of 142 for the win, England Women got off to a racing start courtesy their openers Maia Bouchier and Tammy Beaumont. Beaumont was unfortunately run out for 28 but Bouchier carried on and completed her maiden ODI ton as she remained unbeaten on 100* off 88 balls carrying her bat. Heather Knight fell cheaply while Nat Sciver-Brunt remained unbeaten on 2* off 12 balls and made sure Maia gets to her ton. They got there in 24.3 overs and the series is sealed. 3 extras given by the fielding side.

Tough day in the office for New Zealand as a whole. There was a run out while Brooke Halliday picked up the other wicket. The rest of the bowlers tried but could not get any wickets as they had a paltry score to defend.

Earlier in the game, New Zealand were asked to bat first by England under cloudy skies. New Zealand never really got going with the bat as they lost their openers Suzie Bates and Georgia Plimmer very early in the piece. Amelia Kerr top scored with 43 off 86 balls. Skipper Sophie Devine chipped in with 28 off 34 balls while Maddy Greeh looked good for her 30 off 48 balls. Jess Kerr scored 14 in the end but the innings collapsed as they lost 7/27 to be bowled out for 141 in 41.5 overs. 10 extras given by the fielding side.

Sophie Ecclestone was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 5/25 in 9 overs. She was ably supported by Charlie Dean as she picked up a couple of wickets in her 2/35 in 10 overs. A wicket apiece for Lauren Filer, Kate Cross and Alice Capsey who bowled the 42nd over which was her first and picked up the final wicket. All in all, a professional bowling display by England Women backed by their batters later on.

So, England Women win by 8 wickets to take a winning 2-0 lead in the 3-match series. Stay tuned for the presentations.
Maiden Women's ODI hundred for Maia Bouchier as she gets there in 88 balls. She gets the hundred and England Women wins the game by 8 wickets to clinch the series 2-0 with a game to spare.
24.3 J Kerr to M Bouchier
2 HUNDRED FOR MAIA BOUCHIER AS ENGLAND WIN BY 8 WICKETS !! Pitched up delivery angling into the stumps, Bouchier flicks it to the right of deep mid wicket, they get a couple of runs easily and Maia Bouchier has reached the milestone. A Maiden International WODI Hundred. England win the game comprehensively by 8 wickets.
24.2 J Kerr to M Bouchier
0 Length ball outside off, Bouchier leans forward and defends it to cover.
24.1 J Kerr to M Bouchier
2 Over the wicket, Length ball on the pads, Bouchier flicks it past the short fine leg fielder for a couple of runs. She moves onto 98 as England need just 2 runs.
