Milestone
That's it then. We have finally come to the end of the Qualifiers with the Ratnagiri Jets booking their place in the finals. Don't go too far away as the Eliminator is on its way later tonight. Join us for more cricketing actions across the globe in our network. For now, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentator AkshayaKrishna Polya alongside scorer/analyst Chandan Kumar Singh. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodbye and CHEERS!
Vijay Pawale (Player of the Match): "First of all thanks to the franchise and the owner to trust me and pick me up in the auction. I am also glad that my captain trusted me to bowl the penultimate over. It doesn't matter who is the batter and it is important to trust your skills and bowl full, full in the sense hitting the yorker length making it hard for the batters. I did that and we are on the winning side."
Player of the Match: Vijay Pawale
Azim Kazi (Ratnagiri Jets Captain): "Yes, I said earlier. Momentum was the key. Credit to our batters for sticking out there and scoring that many runs. Yes, there was pressure with the misfields and all. But happy to get the win and we will cherish this win."
Kedar Jadhav (Kolhapur Tuskers Captain): "Absolutely. Yesterday the momentum was with us. Today, with the moisture left on the pitch it was sticking a bit and hence they came on top of us despite having a strong batting line-up. We had a short sleep of maybe 4-5 hours and turn up early the next morning and under that stress, it was always difficult for anyone. It was just the conditions that had the final say against us. We will comeback stronger in the next game."
10:27 AM IST: Time for the post-match presentations...
10:20 AM IST: What a match we have witnessed over the past 2 days. A game that was affected by rain and postponed to this morning and it sees Ratnagiri Jets winning this game by 4 runs under the DLS method and they are the first team to qualify for the finals. The Tuskers will have a second bite to the cherry in Qualifier 2.

Chasing a revised target of 135 runs in 15 overs under the DLS method, Tuskers got off to a good start courtesy of their openers skipper Kedar Jadhav and Ankit Bawne. They were going well before Bawne was run out for 18. Skipper Kedar Jadhav anchored the innings by scoring another half century. He scored 55 off 37 balls and while he was there the chase was under control. His wicket triggered the collapse and they lost from a winning position. Mhatre scored 13 off 10 balls while Sahil Autade scored 20 off 16 balls. Dhillon tried his best in the end but was unbeaten on 10 off 5 balls. 9 extras also contributed. But it was a bridge too far as they ended with 130/5 in 15 overs losing by 4 runs under the DLS method.

Vijay Pawale was the pick of the bowlers with a couple of wickets in his 3 overs. Azim Kazi their skipper bowled 3 overs and gave away 18 runs and picked up a wicket as well. There were two run outs as well.

Earlier in the game, Ratnagiri Jets put into bat first by the Kolhapur Tuskers last night had Phatangare contributing with 46 off 26 balls as he top scored for his team. He was ably supported by Kiran Chormale who scored 34 off 22 balls. The keeper batter Nikhil Naik scored 11 off 8 balls. Divyang Hinganekar scored 25 off 17 balls as The Jets ended with 136/8 in 15 overs with 8 extras given by the fielding side.

Monu Yadav and Pore picked up a couple of wickets apiece for the Tuskers bowlers. A wicket apiece for Tuamad, Chavan, and Darekar. A good bowling performance by the Tuskers.

So, the Jets win by 4 runs under the DLS method to qualify for the finals. Stick around for the presentations.

14.6 N Dhumal to K Wadekar
1 6 runs are needed on the final ball. There you go! Ratnagiri Jets are the first-ever finalists of the Maharashtra Premier League! A low full toss outside off. Wadekar tries to get underneath it and swing it away for a six. Overhits it and loops it over the head of the bowler for a single. Just a single! That was there to be hit but the impact player has missed on the chance of being a hero. The Jets are overjoyed and roar around with a bit of madness. They hold onto the game by a margin of 4 runs (DLS).
6 off 1 ball now needed.
14.5 N Dhumal to T Dhillon
1 A low full toss outside off. Dhillon gets an inside edge on the heave which deflects off the pads to the left of the bowler for a single.
14.4 N Dhumal to T Dhillon
4 FOURRR!!!! Back-to-back fours and Dhillon is keeping Tuskers' hopes alive. On a back of length outside off. Dhillon pulls this in the leg side aerially towards cow corner. The fielders from long-on and deep mid-wicket converge. It evades the jump of the latter to his left for a four. One bounce and over the fence.
14.3 N Dhumal to T Dhillon
4 FOURRR!!! An important boundary in the context of the game. Dhillon opens the bat's face and squeezes this low full toss outside off for a four in the gap between short third and deep backward point.
14.2 N Dhumal to K Wadekar
1 Yorker around the off-stump. Wadekar digs it out of the toe end of the bat towards the left of the bowler for a single.
The impact player Kirtiraj Wadekar comes out to the middle.

14.1 N Dhumal to N Shaikh
1W WICKETTTT!!!! A low full toss outside off. Shaikh swings hard lunging forward in the leg side. Gets it off the toe end of the bat towards long-on. They complete the single and run back for the impossible second. A throw from the long-on fielder at the striker's end does the rest.
14.1 N Dhumal to N Shaikh
WD WIDE! Again a wide! The pressure is having some toll on the bowler. Hard length delivery angling further away outside the tram line. Left alone by Shaikh. An easy call of wide for the umpire.
