Match Details
So the game’s been called off due to rain and it’s an unfortunate end to all proceedings.
Opting to bat first, Yorkshire only managed to bat out there for 8.1 overs. Adam Lyth did add some runs in his previous outing but didn't have much to offer in today’s fixture as he was dismissed for 1 (6) by Ben Raine.
Raine bowled a delivery targeting the stumps and Lyth tried to hoik it towards the on-side but ended up top edging it to Carse at short third-man.
Dawid Malan looked jammy out there in the middle and struggled his way to 8 (16)*. Meanwhile, the Yorkshire skipper Shan Masood impressed with his little stint and accumulated a quickfire 35 (27)* with five fours and a six to his name.
Although, it was Masood who did most of the heavy lifting, him along with Malan compiled a 48 run stand before rain interrupted play and eventually called the game off.
George Drissell might have gone wicketless for Durham but did impress as he gave away just six runs from 3.1 overs. Ben Raine bagged a wicket for 15 runs from two overs, whereas Ashton Turner gave away 15 runs as well from his two overs. Nathan Sowter bowled a solitary over for eight runs.
