Chasing 211, the Comilla Victorians started the inning with Litton Das and Mohammad Rizwan. But Das got hurt on his finger and went off as retired out and also lost the wicket of Kayes at 22 runs on board. Victorians scored 53 runs loss of one wicket in the powerplay.
Johnson Charles Joined Rizwan and they both did great work in the middle and built up a partnership of 122 runs in 11.3 overs for the second wicket before Rizwan departed at 73 runs off 39 balls. After the Rizwan wicket, Shah and Charles both put up a partnership of 59 runs for the third wicket and Shah went off at 12.
On the other end, excellent knock from Charles as he completed his first hundred of BPl in 53 balls and finished the game with his great hitting and remained unbeaten at 107 runs off 56 balls with 5 fours and 11 sixes.
This was the worst day
for the Tigers except for Ahmed, who bowled well for his team, gave away 16 runs in
his spell, and picked one wicket. Islam and Butt took 1-1 wickets each.
Earlier in the day, Comilla Victorians won the toss and decided to bowl first. The Tigers got off
to a solid start, even loss of Hasan Joy in the third
over at 13 runs on the scoreboard.
Shai Hope joined Tamim Iqbal they both handled the inning very well. Tamim Iqbal and Shai Hope brought up their respective fifties. Both put a stand of 184 runs for the second wicket before Tamin departed at 95 off 61 balls with the help of 11 fours and 4 sixes.
Hope played an excellent unbeaten knock of 91 runs off 55 balls with the help of 5 fours and 7 sixes. Azam Khan came in the last and finished innings well with 2 boundaries in the last over and stayed unbeaten at 12. The tigers finished the inning at 210/2 in the 20 overs.
