That's it from this game as another bilateral series comes to an end. It ends 1-1 between Zimbabwe and Ireland. Thank you to everyone for tuning in to our coverage, as we brought you more rain updates than actual live action today. Stay tuned for more cricketing action across the globe in our network across formats. For now, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Akshaya Krishna Polya alongside scorer/analyst Bishal Mandal. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodnight and CHEERS!
Both Craig Ervine and Paul Stirling pose with the shared trophy presented by the Zimbabwean legend Hamilton Masakadza.
Harry Tector: "Yes, I mean it's something you don't try for it. But happy to have performed for the team and put in match-winning performances. The atmosphere was confident as always and we have played well for the past 12-18 months and hope to do the same. I don't see myself as any particular role. It's the situation based and that's how I adjust. I enjoyed my bowling and was handy with it. Wasn't used before and now good to get rewards for bowling well here."
Harry Tector is the Player of the Series.
Craig Ervine (Zimbabwe Captain): "Yeah, we obviously got Sean Williams with a fracture during the T20I series. Tendai Chatara had a niggle in the knee before this game, and we have some tired bodies in our camp. We need to get ready for the next series, which is a two-match Test series against the visiting West Indies.

This was an used wicket. So I thought it was good to bat first as it might tire on later as the match progressed. We felt spin would be important, so we decided to bat first. The mix of young and experienced players is a crucial transition. It's critical to get those kids in, but you don't want them to be mentally exhausted.

It's been a hard-fought series. Ireland, they are always competitive. It was a hard-fought battle, but the guys are good friends off the field."
Paul Stirling (Ireland Captain): "Yes, I think so. Fair result. Disappointed not to get out there and get a result. Fair result. The youngsters did well and the experienced guys are there so good mix of youth and experience for us. Good chance and an exciting time for us to play Bangladesh in May. Hope to do well and then the qualifiers later. I think loads of positives for us going forward. Yes, we love coming here to Zimbabwe and enjoying the sights and sounds of Zimbabwe. We love playing here."
6:36 PM IST | Time for the presentations...
6:17 PM IST: So, the weather has had the final say as the match has been abandoned due to rain. The series ends in a stalemate as the weather is the winner of the deciding match today. We had only 13 overs possible today in which Zimbabwe reached 55/1 after opting to bat first. They lost Chamu Chibhabha for 16 off 28 balls to Mark Adair. Innocent Kaia was unbeaten on 24* off 32 balls while skipper Craig Ervine was with him on 11* off 18 balls when the weather intervened to never relent a chance of a resumption. Mark Adair got the only wicket to fall. The Irish could only use 4 bowlers in the 13 overs we had.

So, the match ends as a no result as the series ends at 1-1. A real shame and dampner to end the series.  Stay tuned for the presentation ceremony.
5:59 PM IST | It Looks like the rain has eased out. The ground staff are out in the middle, and the super sopper is moving around. Can they dry the outfield in time is a question to be answered?
5:35 PM IST | The cut-off time for a 20-over game is 6:45 PM IST.
4:54 PM IST | The ground is again covered fully. The ground staff and the officials are back where they were seated earlier in the stadium as the rain picks up again here in Harare. The way it is pelting down at the moment, the series might end up on level terms.
4:40 PM IST | The drizzle is back again, by the looks of it. Most of the removed covers are back again. The fourth umpire is under an umbrella.
4:30 PM IST | The covers on one of the squares have been completely removed. Meanwhile, the pitch and the other side of the square are still under covers. The super sopper is doing its job. The two on-field umpires were on the ground for a brisk chat with the fourth umpire.
4:00 PM IST | The ground staff are out in the middle again. The rain is completely stopped. Phew... They are removing the covers slowly...Isn't that all you wanted to hear? Finally, a few good activities are going on the field. The sky has just got brighter. Super sopper is doing its duty.
3:50 PM IST | It Looks like the rain has entered the fray yet again. The super sopper has stopped working. The fourth umpire is on the field but with an umbrella. He has a couple of groundsmen to accompany with.
3:31 PM IST | The cat and mouse game continues as the drizzle has eased away now, allowing the ground staff to work again. The super sopper is hovering around, and we also see the umpires having a chat with the ground staff.
3:21 PM IST | We are back with bad news. The umbrellas are back now as the ground staff rush back to their seats. The rain is back again.
2:54 PM IST | Finally, we have some movement on the ground. A few groundsmen and the umpires are on the field now, checking on the puddles and wet areas. One good thing is that they aren't holding an umbrella. Most probably, the rain has stopped.
2:43 PM IST There is nothing new to update from Harare. The rain continues to fall and the covers are firmly in place. There is no movement either. The radar isn't promising either. We will keep our fingers crossed. Stay tuned!
1:47 PM IST | The big covers come on as the rain pours down now. The pitch and the entire square are under covers now.
