NIKHIL: So, we are done here with Sri Lanka Women winning the game by 3 runs ( D/L Method ).
Sri Lanka Women started off in a sluggish manner as they managed to score 23 for the loss of 1 wicket in the powerplay. Nilakshi De Silva and Hasini Perera batted well together for the 4th wicket partnership as they added 29 runs together. It was for splendid innings by Nilakshi that the Lankan Women managed to score 83 runs in 18.1 overs before the rain entered the frame.
For Bangladesh Women, Rumana was outstanding as he scalped a couple. While Shanjida, Khatun, and Alam picked up a wicket too.
In reply to the target of 41 runs in 7 overs, Bangladesh Women started off on a decent note as they managed to score 10 for 1 in the powerplay which was of 2 overs. It was for Nigar Sultana who was the only one that managed to score in the double figures as she got out on 12. No Bangladesh Women stood up and took the responsibility for a fight back after a dull start.
For Sri Lanka Women, Inoka Ranaweera turned the tables in the 6th over as she managed to scalp 4 wickets in total. Oshadi took a wicket too.
