In response to 150 runs, Sri Lanka Women didn’t get the start they wanted as they lost a couple of wickets in the powerplay and were able to score 43 runs in the powerplay at the loss of 2 wickets. They lost a couple of quick wickets more and were struggling at 56 for 4 in 8.3 overs.
Sri Lanka Women kept losing wickets at regular intervals and were bundled out for 109 runs. Hasini Perera was the top scorer for Sri Lanka as she scored 30 runs off 32 balls. On the other hand, Dayalan Hemalatha picks up 3 wickets, giving away 15 runs in 2.2 overs. Pooja and Deepti shared a couple of wickets each, and Radha Yadav scalped one wicket.
