Deepak:2:36 AM IST: So, we are done here with the Birmingham Bears winning the game easily by 31 runs.
Yorkshire came out to chase down massive 239 runs, Adam Lyth (69 of 38) and Finn Allen (29 of 13) started the second inning in the top gear as they have scored 67 runs in just 5 overs and lost Finn Allen on the last ball of the fifth over scoring 29 runs. David Malan joined Lyth at number 3 but didn't settle in the middle and departed scoring 6 runs of 7 balls. Cadmore joined Lyth at number 4 and scored quick 20 runs off just 9 balls. Lyth and Cardmore lost their wicket back to back at 133 runs on board and joined the dug-out. Harry Brook (29 of 16) and Shadab Khan (15 of 8) played some short but didn't settle on the crease and they lost wickets in quick succession. Yorkshire bundled at 207 runs and lost the match by 31 runs.
On the other hand, Carlos Brathwaite and Jake Lintott shared three wickets each and gave away 32and 42 runs respectively of their four-over quota. Craig miles picked up a couple of wickets whereas Briggs and Mousley shared one wicket each and sealed the match for Bears.
