Anurag Dasgupta: That's the end of the coverage and it was a pleasure bringing the ball-to-ball updates of this monumental clash. This is Anurag Dasgupta, along with my co-commentator, Anurag Suingh, signing off for the day.
Anurag Dasgupta: Yusuf Pathan was declared the man of the match for his all round performance.
Anurag Dasgupta: The Pathan brothers were simply outstanding with the bowl, picking up 2 wickets each to put the pressure back on the Islanders.
Anurag Dasgupta: Just when it looked over for the Sri Lanka Legends, Kaushalya Weeraratne played a blinder of an innings and stitched a crucial 64-run stand for the fifth wicket alongside Chinthaka Jayasinghe. But the wicket of Weeraratne in the penultimate over all but ended Sri Lanka's hope for a victory in this match.
Anurag Dasgupta: Jayasuriya looked in good touch but the lack of strike rotation hampered the Sri Lankan run chase as they lost wickets at quick succession.
Anurag Dasgupta: Chasing a mammoth total of 182, Sri Lanka Legends were off to a flying start, thanks to Dilshan and Jayasuriya who rolled back years and played some exquisite shots to entertain the crowd at Raipur. Both the openers were threatening to take the game away from the Indian team, but the partnership was eventually broken by Yusuf Pathan who dismissed Dilshan for a quickfire 21.
Anurag Dasgupta: What a match we have witnessed. India Legends have won the game by 14 runs and have clinched the Road Safety World Series title. A big big congratulations to the Indian team led brilliantly by the Little Master, Sachin Tendulkar.
W That's it the match is over. Slower delivery and Maharoof tries to clear the long on fence, but he misses the shot and the long on fielder takes a simple catch. With this, India Legends are the champions of the Road Safety Series 2021 and the whole dugout is out and running to celebrate this victory.
W Hits the length ball down to long on for a single. The two batsmen decide to run a second but the long on fielder throws the ball straight to the wicketkeeper who dislodges the bails and the batsman is way out of his crease and is not even in the frame.

19.3 Munaf Patel to Nuwan Kulasekara
0 Play and a miss! Kulasekara tries to hit the ball hard, but is completely beaten by pace.
19.2 Munaf Patel to Chinthaka Jayasinghe
1 Full delivery, driven straight to long on for a run. Good comeback by Munaf.
19.1 Munaf Patel to Chinthaka Jayasinghe
6 Six! Full delivery slapped hard by Jayasinghe and the ball just goes over the long on fence for a six to start off the over.
