That is the end of our coverage for this game. Until tomorrow, it's a ta-ta and a goodnight from me, Anurag Dasgupta and my co-commentator, Sourya.
Carlos Brathwaite: Had a slow start. Didn't have much momentum. But we pulled it back well. Today was a good advert for The Hundred. Wicket was not a raging turner. The spinners showed skill. Pleased with the way they came out of it. Didn't start well with bat or ball. That cost us the game.
Bradley Wheal | Hero of the Match: Amazing, we had a great atmosphere here at Old Trafford. Good to get over the line, it's been a tough tournament so far. (Bowling in pressure situations) That's what we live for as bowlers. That's the environment that I love bowling in, just happy to get the boys over the line. Played quite nicely, cutters were gripping a little bit, the odd one skidding in, cross-seamers were quite effective. Spinners did well, Mason bowled well, it was a good game for us. The knowledge he's been giving us along the way, it's just incredible and you just pinch yourself sometimes, it's a great experience.
Time for the presentation ceremony.
DG: The big West Indian literally started to bludgeon every delivery and almost took the game away from the Spirit. But some outstanding death bowling from Bradley Wheal shifted the wheels towards the London side and Manchester Originals crumbled under pressure and couldn't go past the finishing line.
DG: Chasing a tricky total of 143, Originals were off to a horror start, losing Joe Clarke for a golden duck. Colin Ackermann came in at number 4 and changed the complexion of the game. He quickly started to dominate the Spirit bowlers and took the onus upon himself to steer his side past the victory line. Some tight bowling towards the middle phase derailed their chase and then out comes Carlos Brathwaite.
DG: A brilliant, brilliant end to a fascinating game here at Manchester. London Spirit held their nerves and won this nervy encounter by 6 runs. The Spirit have finally, finally registered their maiden victory in the tournament.
W OUT! Low full toss on middle, Klassen goes back on his crease trying to hoik it leg side, goes too far back in fact and knocks his bails down to be hit wicket, London Spirit have got their first win
Decision sent upstairs for a run-out. That looks close. And yes, I was right . Hartley just couldn't make his ground on time. Perfect throw from the third man.
99b B Wheal to T Hartley
W Low full toss, gets it away towards third man, will come back for two, bails uprooted and he seems short, great work at third man there.
