Vishwanath has solid backfoot play in his arsenal, and his ability to play the pull shot is a great asset in his game. He is equally adept on the frontfoot, boasting a remarkable technique for coming under the ball and playing the drive.
Despite a forgetful start to his domestic career, Vishwanath's potential was recognized after his impressive performance in the Sher-E-Punjab T20 Cup 2023. His First-Class debut, where he scored only three runs, was a mere stepping stone to his future success.
Vishwanath's outstanding performance in the tournament mentioned above earned him a well-deserved Indian Premier League (IPL) contract. He scored an impressive 430 runs, including a century, with a strike-rate of 140.07, making him the third-highest run-scorer in the tournament.
