The young star became Namibia's leading run-getter at the 2016 ICC U19 Cricket World Cup, with 163 runs. It included a stellar 58* off 97 balls, helping Namibia upset the Proteas and enter the quarter-finals. The inning was followed by a splendid 96-ball 59 along with two remarkable catches against Nepal, which saw Namibia secure the 7th spot in the tournament.

Lo-handre's maiden First-Class ton came against Boland at Paarl, during the 2017-18 Sunfoil 3-Day Cup. He smashed 110 from 155 balls, helping Namibia draw the game.

Although Louwrens amassed 258 runs in 6 outings, Namibia finished 14th in the competition.

During the 2018-19 ICC World Twenty20 Africa Qualifier, the Namibian keeper-batter hammered a magnificent 48-ball century against Mozambique and finished the tournament as the leading run-scorer.
