An Omanian cricketer who was born in India, Mohammad Ebrahim Sanuth had a long cricketing journey that started way back in Trivandrum.
A left-handed batter with an ability to chip in with off-break bowling, Sanuth made his first-class debut for Kerala in the 2008-09 Ranji Trophy campaign. He last played for Kerala in 2011 and after which he realized that his dream opportunity lies somewhere else.
After years of hard work and patience, Sanuth finally got an opportunity as he was named in Oman’s squad for the 2020 Oman Tri-Nation Series. He made his ODI debut in that series against UAE and hardly made an impact, scoring just 6 runs in the match.
Sanuth was drafted in the Oman side for the 2021 ICC World T20 Competition.
So far, Sanuth’s international stats are not that impressive. In the handful ODI games played, the talented batter has scored 46 runs at an average of 23.00. Even Sanuth’s bowling statistics are average, to say the least. In the same amount of matches, he has failed to even pick up a single wicket under his belt.
