Player Bio

Xavier Bartlett is a burly right-arm fast-bowler who’s known for his strong physique which enables him to bowl fast, extremely fast. He represented Australia’s U-19 team during the Junior World Cup in 2018, where the young pacer played a pivotal role for the team.

Born in Adelaide, Bartlett has emerged from the Gold Coast District Cricket Club, before representing Queensland Under-19s. He played an important role for the Queensland U19 team during the 2016-17 season. The following season, the strong pacer donned the Australian jersey in the U19 World Cup to play a couple of games in the tournament.

The young pacer caught everyone’s attention in Australia and soon was given the chance to make his List-A debut. Bartlett made his List-A debut for the Cricket Australia XI against India A, against the likes of Shreyas Iyer, Manish Pandey, Sanju Samson and Hardik Pandya.

At 21, Bartlett was signed by Brisbane Heat as a replacement player to replace an injured Luke Feldman, during BBL|06. While not required to play that season, the old Gold Coast product made his BBL debut during 2020-21, later played 16 T20 games to scalp 12 wickets at a strike rate of 20.50.

No doubt that Bartlett has a bright future ahead of him and he would be willing to stamp his authority whenever, wherever he gets the opportunity.
