Player Bio

Benjamin George Frederick Green is an English cricketer who plays for Somerset in the English County Championship.

An all-rounder by profession, Green has represented England at the Under-15 and Under-17 level of cricket.

A right-handed batsman, with an ability to chip in with medium pace bowling, Green progressed through Devon age group system before being offered a first team contract in 2016.

In 2016, Green made his Twenty20 debut for Somerset against Hampshire in the 2016 Natwest T20 Blast.

After getting some experience with the shortest format of the game, Green eventually made his List-A debut in the 2018 Royal One-Day Cup.

A great thinker, Green is a street smart cricketer with immense potential. If nurtured in the right way, he could be the next great all-rounder to play for the Three Lions.
