Player Bio
25-year-old Abhishek Raut is a relative newcomer on the domestic circuit. This all-rounder currently plays for Goa, but has had stints with Maharashtra and Mumbai in the past. He can score quick runs on top of the order and even bowl legbreaks when needed.
After a decent Ranji Trophy season, he will be hoping to chip in with some useful performances for the Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2012. In his two previous stints with the Jaipur franchise, Raut scored useful runs batting in the lower order and even helped win a couple of close games.
