Player Bio

A tall, muscular fast bowler, Harry Conway is a professional Australian cricketer for the Adelaide Strikers. The speedster joined New South Wales on a rookie contract at the start of the 2012-13 season. Part of the Australian U-19 setup, Conway picked up a hat-trick at the junior level against Nepal.

After a string of impressive performances in the 2015-16 Toyota Future League, the 29-year old was called up to the NSW Sheffield side. He made his first-class debut against Tasmania in March 2016 and didn’t disappoint either, picking up five wickets on his debut.

The breakout moment in his career came in the 2019-20 Sheffield Shield season when the pacer picked up 25 wickets and was recognised as the Blue’s MVP of the season. Conway was previously signed by the Sydney Sixers but unfortunately didn’t make his debut and joined Adelaide Strikers prior to the start of the ninth edition of the Big Bash League (BBL).

Having featured in just 8 matches in the previous two seasons of the BBL, the Sydney-born pacer adds plenty of depth and flair to the Striker’s bowling lineup and would be looking to contribute well in the upcoming years.
